YUKA THE RED PANDAⓇ series:
Adventures of a curious little light worker
in search of experiences, beauty, and wisdom.
SYNOPSIS: Yuka spends the summer exploring the island and the different micro-regions. Some days are spent hiking in the hills, stopping once in a while to admire the views, tasting a sprig of rosemary here, biting on a few leaves of thyme there, squeezing a piece of sage and taking in the aroma, or smelling clusters of other wild herbs in bloom. Other days are spent listening to the sounds of insects, taking a quick nap in the shade of an old olive tree, and taking in the beauty of the scenery. Tonight, Yuka will watch the sunset over the old port, look at the tourists from afar, fall asleep under the stars, and dream of mandalas reflecting the colors of the Balearic sea, and the majestic skies above it ...
A wordless narrative ending with words of affirmation. Created for highly sensitive souls, starseeds, neurodivergent individuals, toddlers, seniors, and anyone in between looking to downregulate their nervous system before going to sleep.
Through mostly wordless narratives, more experienced readers are encouraged to reconnect with their inner child, weaving their own language, words, expressions, interpretations and stories appropriate to the moment, thereby fostering imagination and allowing for personalized reflections aligned with one's culture, values, and belief systems. Yuka is not gender or racially defined so everyone can connect in a way that is inclusive to their own reality. If nothing else, the charm and poetry of the images will bring pleasure to anyone who is sensitive to this aesthetic and/or subject matter.
